Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has addressed speculations surrounding his relationship with his children from his marriage to May, clarifying that he remains actively involved in their lives.

Speaking on the KaaTruths podcast, Yul dismissed claims that he is estranged from his three children, revealing that they are still in regular communication.

He shared that he recently spoke with his son, who informed him of his admission into a university, although he was unable to attend the matriculation due to receiving the information late.

The actor also explained why he no longer posts photos or updates about the children on social media. According to him, a court order linked to his ongoing divorce proceedings bars both parents from sharing the children’s images online.

“The reason I don’t post my kids is not because we don’t have a relationship. There’s a court order stopping both of us from posting them,” he said, adding that he continues to support his children financially through their mother.

Addressing questions about his failed marriage, Yul declined to apportion blame, stating that family matters should remain private. He emphasized that no one is perfect and maintained that he prefers to handle such issues with maturity rather than public exchanges.
