Why Africans need to demand justice for George Floyd - Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, a former senator representing Kaduna Central, has stated that Africans need to be involved in the demand for justice for George Floyd.

Floyd, an African-American died while getting arrested by four white cops in Minnesota. His brutal death has been seen to be racially motivated.

This has led to a series of protests in the United States and across the world.

In reaction, Shehu Sani stated that Africans should not allow the problems they face in their continent to stop them from demanding justice for Floyd.

"Some people think that we Africans should not be involved in #GeorgeFloyd because we have a much bigger problem at home and in our continent. Yes, we have a bigger problem, but Floyd was one of Us. It's unAfrican not to feel the pains of your brother because you have a problem".
