Uwaila Omozuwa: Police demanded 'mobility money' to do their job - Sister of raped UNIBEN student

The Nigerian Police Force has been accused of demanding "mobility money" from the father of the raped and murdered UNIBEN student, Uwaila Omozuwa, before they can begin investigations on her death.
Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100 level student of Microbiology was raped and bashed with a fire extinguisher in the head by unknown men in Edo State.
She was found in serious condition inside a church from where she was rushed to a hospital where she died.
Addressing newsmen, her sister expressed disappointment at the Nigerian Police Force over the way they have been handling the case.
"I'm very disappointed at the Nigerian Police Force", she said.
"I go through my phone every time to check what's going on, what's trending and all.
"I saw a post that they called my father and he refused to go to the station.
"My father went there several times almost as if it was his house. They even insulted him.
"The Nigerian Police said they needed mobility money before they can do their job before they can do justice for my sister", she concluded.
