Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia have reportedly entered the race for the signature of Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, amid keen interest from Besiktas.

Ndidi has been linked with a move away from Leicester City following the club's relegation from the Premier League last season.

Several top European clubs have shown interest in Ndidi, including Manchester United and Juventus.

However, Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas are the only club to have shown real interest in the Super Eagles midfielder after submitting an initial bid of €7 million, which was rejected by Leicester City.

Ndidi has a relegation clause of €9 million, after penning a new deal with the Foxes last season.

In a latest development, transfer expert Ben Jacobs reported that Valencia saw their bid for the Nigerian international rejected by Leicester City.

Galatasaray and Leicester City have agreed to a €9.5 million deal, with just a few details remaining for the deal to be finalized.
