Speculation surrounding Victor Osimhen's future is set to take centre stage in the coming days following the conclusion of the 2024/2025 campaign.
The 26-year-old is expected to return to his parent club, Napoli, after an incredible loan spell with Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Super Eagles striker made his final appearance for the Yellow and Reds against İstanbul Başakşehir on Friday, May 30, in the Turkish Super Lig.
Amid the uncertainty surrounding Osimhen's future, his older brother, Patrick Osimhen, has dropped a hint about the player's next move this summer.
In a chat with Beyaz Futbol pundit Agir, Patrick revealed that Victor Osimhen loves life at Galatasaray and would be open to continuing his career in Turkey.
“I spoke to Osimhen’s older brother, Patrick Andrew Osimhen. I asked, ‘Which team do you think Osimhen will go to?’ Agir told Habersarikirmizi:
“He laughed and said, ‘I think he will stay here.’ I said, ‘Are you joking?’ He said, ‘He loves it here.’”
Osimhen played a key role in guiding Galatasaray to a domestic double, winning both the Super Lig and the Turkish Cup under Okan Buruk’s management.
The Super Eagles striker finished the season with an impressive 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray.
