On Independence Day, President Bola Tinubu will attend the premiere of a movie honouring the late MKO Abiola, winner of the June 1993 election.

Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga said the premiere will be held at the Wole Soyinka National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.

While in Lagos, President Tinubu will also hold strategic meetings with political leaders and associates over several days in preparation for the 2027 elections.

Meanwhile, Onanuga has announced that Tinubu is currently airborne on his way to Lagos from Paris, where he had a working vacation.
