TCN restores power supply to Kaduna Disco

The Transmission Company of Nigeria has restored bulk power supply to the Kaduna Distribution Company yesterday.

This is coming after the TCN completed feeder rearrangement in Mando Transmission Substation.

"Earlier at 2:50 pm on Wednesday, Kaduna Town Transmission Line II was opened for the ICN maintenance crew to transfer 33kV NAF and 33kV Akbapa feeders from 60MVA132/33kV transformer T2 and 60MVA 132/33 kV transformer T1 to 60MVA132/33kV Transformer T1 and 60MVA 132/33kV Transformer T3 in Mando substation.

Work was completed and bulk power was restored around 5:45 pm on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020," the statement from the TCN said.
