Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has warned the incoming Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Rasheed Ladoja, to beware of ex-presidential candidate Peter Obi because he's not a friend of Ibadan.

Omokri gave the advice after Obi led an entourage to visit Oba Ladoja, who will soon mount the throne as the Olubadan.

According to Omokri, Obi is a tribalistic and clannish individual who publicises the ills of other societies but keeps mute when the same happens in his own region.

He wrote on Facebook, "I remind the Olubadan-designate, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, that Peter Obi was the main culprit in politicising the Ibadan stampede deaths on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Instead of sympathising with the people of Ibadan, he used the event to attack the Federal Government and President Tinubu.

"Then, as God would have it, three days later, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, a stampede occurred in Anambra, Obi's home state. Peter Obi initially refused to comment until I called him out for his partiality.

"Then, he grudgingly commented and sympathised with the victims, and this time around, he did not cast blame as he did when it occurred in Ibadan.

"Might I remind the Olubadan-designate that those behind the Ibadan stampede were arrested and jailed, but those behind the Anambra stampede were not punished, and Obi said nothing.

"The Olubadan-designate should be aware that Peter Obi is not a friend of Ibadan or Oyo. He is a tribalistic and clannish individual.

"If it happens in Igboland, Obi will suddenly become deaf, dumb, and blind. But Peter Obi will dance naked in public if it occurs in the North or Southwest.

"That is Peter Obi's regular trademark. Peter Obi treats people of Igbo descent differently from how he treats other Nigerians, and such a person should never be the President of Nigeria."
