People envy my wealth - Tinubu says as he reveals the source of his wealth in BBC interview

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has revealed the source of his wealth as he spoke in his first media interview since emerging as the presidential candidate of the party.

Amid the criticisms that the former Lagos governor is shining debates and media interviews, he told BBC Africa's Peter Okwoche that he has investments are the main source of his wealth.

He said: "They got to know how to analyze and how to ask questions and not in the acquisitory format. Are they enemies of wealth? If they’re not enemies or wealth, investments do yield."

"I have an example of Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in America and in the world. He started from stalk buying and privileges. I inherited real estate and turned the value around."

"I am not denying my wealth, I am the most investigated, the most accused governor by the opposition for 8 years and since I left the office, I am still there, not taken any government appointments, no government contract."
