People don't trust Buhari- NNPC GMD, Kyari

Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari has said people do not trust President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari enough.

The NNPC boss made this statement in an interview with Channels Television on the program tagged Sunrise Daily.

This was coming after the presenter asked him why subsidy is just being removed after a continuous clamour for its removal.

"People don't trust our president. There is a trust deficit, "Kyari said.

According to NNPC chief, he stated trust as part of the reasons why the subsidy debate dragged on this long.

He also revealed that Nigerians are used to consumption rather than production.
