Nigerian businessman and politician, Arc Uche Rochas has questioned why President Bola Tinubu will continue with his presidential duties while on his annual leave.
Rochas was reacting to a post by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy) who announced that President Bola Tinubu was embarking on a two-week leave.
In his response to Onanuga's tweet, he wrote: "I expected him to hand over responsibilities to his vice and take a complete, work-free leave. How can he be on leave and still working?"
Earlier, Bayo Onanuga said the President would use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
He said the President will return to the country after the leave expires.
The post reads: "President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave."
"He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration's economic reforms. He will return to the country after the leave expires."
