Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has stirred reactions online after responding to Burna Boy’s explanation of his reported altercation with DJ Tunez.
The drama follows the viral nightclub incident involving Burna Boy and the popular disc jockey, which has continued to dominate conversations across social media.
After the initial backlash, Burna Boy released another video addressing the controversy, where he denied claims that he sent men to attack DJ Tunez.
According to the singer, the situation did not happen the way many people have portrayed it online.
Reacting through a series of posts on X, Wizkid appeared to mock Burna Boy over the explanation, throwing subtle jabs and sarcastic comments that quickly got fans talking.
In one of the posts, the Ojuelegba crooner reportedly referred to Burna Boy as “Ogbafia” and teased him over his continued efforts to explain the incident.
He also suggested that Burna Boy would continue to “explain tire,” implying that the singer was doing too much damage control.
Wizkid further claimed that there was video evidence of what happened during the confrontation, insisting that Burna Boy “collected” from the disc jockey during the altercation.
The exchange has since divided fans of both stars.
While some social media users praised Wizkid for speaking up and defending someone close to him, others criticised him for choosing to respond online rather than addressing the issue privately.
Some fans also described him as a keyboard warrior, urging him to do more than post tweets during celebrity feuds.
Others, however, applauded his boldness, saying Wizkid has never been afraid to call out fellow artistes when necessary.
As the back-and-forth continues, the reported Burna Boy and DJ Tunez nightclub drama has now taken on a new dimension, drawing in more major names from the Nigerian music industry.
