Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has sparked reactions online after responding to what his lover, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, well known as Jarvis, revealed about the car he gifted her on her birthday.

Recall that Peller had surprised Jarvis a few months ago with her dream car, sharing a video of the emotional moment it was delivered to his house and presented to her.

However, in a recent video now making the rounds on social media, the couple was seen live-streaming while discussing the vehicle, and Jarvis made a surprising confession.

According to her, the birthday gift has now turned into a “liability”, revealing that she had spent close to one million naira on repairs.

Jarvis explained that only a few days after receiving the car, it was involved in an accident, forcing her to spend heavily to fix the damage.

She further disclosed that she had also changed the colour of the car without informing Peller, keeping him in the dark until now.

Reacting to the revelation, Peller appeared stunned and jokingly responded in Pidgin:

“Na only God go punish her small.”

He went on to say it was probably a good thing she did not tell him earlier, while also teasing her over the car’s new colour and accusing her of hiding the truth.

The video has since left fans amused, with many flooding the comment section with hilarious reactions.

While some viewers said Peller seemed genuinely heartbroken over the state of the car, others criticised him for focusing on the vehicle instead of first checking on Jarvis’s well-being after the accident.

A number of social media users also speculated that the exchange may simply be content created to stir engagement and keep the couple trending online.
