The Biafra Republic Government in Exile (BRGIE) has said Nigerian agents in the Kouvola court are unhappy that Biafrans now know what Prime Minister Simon Ekpa said in the Finnish Open Court.

Kouvola proceedings are Open Court. Under Finnish law, open court means it is public, with no secrecy. What is said in open court belongs to the public.

According to BRGIE, Biafrans have the right to know what their Prime Minister said in their defence.

"If Nigerian agents are angry that truth came out, it confirms PM told truth.

"PM stated: USB declared in Lahti Nov 29, 2024 with 40 States — meets Montevideo 1933. USB Independence Declaration in Lahti is part of the PROCESS to our full protection and freedom. USB Constitution in exile is legal and cabinet can use it

"This truth hurts Nigerian agents because it exposes Nigeria and their Biafra agents fighting our freedom and declaration

"The Finland open court hurts Nigeria as a terrorist state, not Biafra.

"We will not hide open court from Biafrans. Open court is not secret meeting. Biafrans funded this struggle; Biafrans are the people. We will continue to brief Biafrans on every open court statement."

BRGIE urged the Nigerian to leave the Finnish court and not intimidate Biafrans from hearing their Prime Minister. It said the Nigerian agents are interfering with Finnish open justice.

"We ask the Finnish court to note their presence.

"Finland court conducts secret hearing during the PM's appeal and the public was not allowed into the court. Nigerian agents should understand the difference between Finland open court and secret court hearings.

"Open court is open. We will not be intimidated," BRGIE said in a statement.
