An elderly man recently broke down at a bank over his inability to access his money in his account.

In a video making rounds, the old man who was sitting on a chair was seen weeping while speaking with a bank attendant.

He explained that he has not eaten from morning despite having money in the bank.

He complained that he needs his drugs but the pharmacist has refused to sell them to him unless he brings his money.

With tears running down his cheeks, he said; "I have not eaten since morning. I can't buy my drugs".

The scarcity of new Naira notes has become a huge problem for Nigerians as the government try to flush out the old notes from the system.

Reacting to the video, netizens wrote on Twitter;
