Victor Moses has signed with Kaysar FC of Kazakhstan, marking the 11th club in the Nigerian international’s extensive playing career, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The Kyzylorda-based side confirmed the signing on Saturday via their official Facebook page, describing the 35-year-old midfielder as a player whose experience at top European clubs will bring both quality and leadership to the squad.
“Kaysar Football Club officially announces that experienced midfielder Victor Moses has signed a contract with the team. The former Nigerian international will represent the Kyzylorda-based club in the upcoming season,” the club said.
“Victor Moses is a player widely recognised for his experience at several top European clubs and his high-level expertise on the field. His arrival at Kaysar FC is a clear indication of the club’s ambitions for the new season.
“The club management and coaching staff believe that Victor’s experience and skill will have a positive impact on the team’s development and the growth of younger players. We wish Victor Moses every success in his time with Kaysar FC!”
According to Vesti.kz, Moses’ contract will be for one year.
Moses, who can operate both as a winger and a wing-back, enjoyed a decorated career in Europe, beginning at Crystal Palace in 2007 before moving to Wigan Athletic in 2010.
He joined Chelsea in 2012, where he was part of the squad that won the 2016/17 Premier League. Loan spells followed at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham United, Fenerbahçe, Inter Milan, and Spartak Moscow, before a permanent stay at Spartak Moscow between 2021 and 2024.
His most recent club was EFL League One side Luton Town, which released him at the end of his contract in June 2025.
At the international level, Moses made 38 appearances for Nigeria between 2012 and 2018, scoring 12 goals. He featured prominently in Nigeria’s victorious 2013 Africa Cup of Nations campaign, and played in the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups.
The Wolves are founding members of the Kazakhstan Premier League and have missed only three seasons due to relegation. The club’s most successful seasons include a Kazakhstan Cup triumph in 1998, a fourth-place league finish the same year, and a second Cup victory in 2019.
