The Nigerian entertainment world has been rocked to its core as BBNaija star and fan favourite Phyna detonated a scandal of seismic proportions, releasing what she claims are actual WhatsApp screenshots proving that firebrand social critic Verydarkman, the same man who built his entire brand on calling out others, privately begged her for sex.

In the leaked messages, VeryDarkMan allegedly typed, without shame, without filter, words to the effect of:

"Growing up, I just say I'm sexually attracted to you. If we [sleep together], fine, if we don't, bye… Make we fuukk na."

Just days before Phyna pulled the trigger on this revelation, VDM had stood before his audience with the full force of his reputation and denied everything,, expressing theatrical shock that Phyna would dare suggest he ever made such advances. He called it a lie. He dared her to produce proof.

The contrast could not be more brutal: a man who has made a career of exposing the alleged hypocrisy of celebrities and public figures now finds himself at the centre of exactly the kind of scandal he has gleefully dissected in others.
