Magu vows to fight corruption seriously in 2020

Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has promised to bring all corrupt officials to book this year.

He made this statement on a tour of the Ilorin Zonal office of the commission while monitoring to ensure efficiency in the system.

Magu said that no high profile individuals involved in corrupt allegations would be shielded from prosecution, as well as looters tried abroad.

“All of them would be arraigned as soon as investigations are concluded. There is going to be a massive fight against corruption this year," he promised.

He said that the campaign against corruption had just started, noting that more looters would be repatriated back to the country for prosecution.
