Social commentator Geh Geh has called out Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface for allegedly splurging ₦400 million on a Lamborghini while Nigerians continue to grapple with economic hardship and rising insecurity.
Geh Geh criticized the football star for prioritizing luxury at a time when his home state, Edo, is battling urgent security issues. He referenced the recent abduction of a couple in the state, where kidnappers reportedly demanded a ₦70 million ransom.
According to the commentator, Boniface’s influence and financial strength could have made a significant difference in efforts to rescue the victims.
Expressing his disappointment, Geh Geh stated:
“Victor Boniface disappointed me for buying a ₦400 million Lamborghini at a time when Nigerians are crying for help. A couple was kidnapped in Edo State and the kidnappers asked for ₦70 million. Being from the state, Victor Boniface could have stepped in to help.”
