Chief Emma Eneukwu, a former Deputy National Chairman, South, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has encouraged voters in Imo, Bayelsa, and Kogi states to step out to cast their votes in the elections today.
The APC Chieftain who has thrown his weight behind Governor Hope Uzodinma entreated the people of the state to uphold the existing momentum by casting their vote for the governor seeking re-election.
He made this known in a statement made available to the media.
He emphasized the need “for the continuation of Uzodinma’s disruptive yet innovative leadership that has brought about world-standard advancements to the state.”
Highlighting Governor Uzodimma’s unwavering commitment to progress and transformation, Eneukwu emphasized the need for Imolites to rally behind the governor.
According to him, “Under Governor Uzodinma’s tenure, Imo State has experienced significant infrastructural development, improved healthcare, and educational reforms.”
He further underscored Governor Uzodinma’s “dedication to job creation and economic empowerment, noting the strides made in attracting investments that have translated into tangible benefits for Imo residents.”
Eneukwu extended the call for support to Bayelsa and Kogi.
He emphasized the need for a change in Bayelsa’s leadership, citing the challenges bedevilling the state and why Timipreye Sylva of APC should be allowed to save the state.
For Kogi, Eneukwu highlighted the exceptional qualities of Usman Ododo, emphasising that he is the best candidate to lead the state to greater heights.
