Ignorant people say I'm sick; presidential race not wrestling - Tinubu jabs critics

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has taken a swipe at people who question his health status.

According to him, persons who constantly raise concerns about his health status are ignorant as he is not competing for a wrestling match but the presidency.

The former governor of Lagos state made this known during a dinner hosted by the Kano state business community in his honour on Saturday, October 22.

“I’m not running for 100 yards or 500 yards. I’m running for president. I’m not competing in WWE wrestling. Do I look like a sick man?”, he said.

He noted that his critics are complaining about his health because he is smarter than them.

There have been concerns about the health status of the APC presidential candidate. Many believe he is not fit to lead the country and should step aside.

Others also say they would not want a repeat of Buhari's frequent travels to the UK for medical treatment.
