Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has set the record straight on the news of Ibrahim Chatta’s son’s death.

Kemi Filani reported a day back that Ibrahim sent the internet into shock when he revealed that he had lost a son.

Taking to her Instagram page to sympathise with him, Opeyemi told Ibrahim to take heart and stay strong. She prayed that Allah grant him and his family all that’s required to bear the painful loss”.

Now, setting the record straight, Opeyemi clarified that the actor didn’t lose his biological son, but his godson, who is like a son to him.

The actress revealed that it has been an emotional ride so far as she prayed that the deceased’s pure soul continue to rest peacefully.

“Ibrahim Chatta didn’t lose his biological son but a godson, who is also like a son to him. May his pure soul continue to rest peacefully.
Oluwa shanu wa, bawa da wo iku odo duro. It’s been an extremely emotional ride so far. God have mercy. Lord, have mercy on us all and heal the world”.

Kemi Filani did a check on Ibrahim’s Instagram page and noticed that he had re-edited the post to reflect that he lost his godson and not his biological son.
