Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has said she never accused singer Naira Marley of killing his former record label signee, Mohbad.

This was after Naira Marley finally told his side of the story after years of facing backlash and cancel culture from Nigerians following Mohbad's controversial death in 2023.

After Naira Marley released his story, which has swayed views in his direction, Iyabo Ojo issued a video to state that her actions and rants against him after Mohbad's demise were out of emotion.

In a video, she said, "Naira, I did not say you killed Mohbad. I only asked you what did you do when you manage his team and... because I was seeing some nice part of you. I don't think I ever did a video saying cancel Naira Marley.

"Yes, you've been vindicated that you didn't kill him. Everyone knows you were not there.

"I was angry, I was emotional. I'm an African mother, that's the way mothers are; true mothers know."
