I support subsidy removal - Rufai Oseni

Rufai Oseni Rufai Oseni

Popular Arise Tv host and on-air personality Rufai Oseni supports the removal of fuel subsidies albeit with a plan.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu during his inaugural speech on Monday, May 29 stated that the petrol subsidy regime is over.

The market has since been reacting to his announcement as long queues have surfaced in various fuel stations across the country.

In typical fashion, Mr. Oseni has waded into the conversation.

The media personality on his Twitter page on Wednesday, May 31 noted that while he supports the withdrawal of fuel subsidies, careful planning is required.

Rufai believes that eliminating fuel subsidies is a sensible course of action, but it demands careful planning and execution.

He wrote: "I support subsidy removal, but we have to plan."
