'He has so many talents' - Lampard on Iwobi

Everton manager Frank Lampard seems not to run out of praise for Nigerian international Alex Iwobi.

The 26-year-old has been phenomenal for the Toffees since the former Chelsea boss took over the reins at the Merseyside club.

Iwobi had a difficult start to life at Goodison Park and under former Everton boss Rafael Benitez.

Iwobi's style of play has totally transformed under Frank Lampard and the former Arsenal man looks almost unrecognisable.

The Super Eagles star was a key figure in Everton's relegation survival last season playing in most of their last PL matches at the tail end of the season.

He continued from where he left off last season with some incredible display in the midfield area for Everton.

Impressed by Iwobi's dazzling display, his manager has described him as a player with many talents, certainly one he wouldn't like to play against as a player.

“He is playing with incredible consistency, the 44-year-old said

“He did a lot for us last season played some games at No 8 and I really liked him. It suited his talent, in terms of strength and quality of pass.

“He has so many talents. I would not like to have played against him as a midfield player. He can run and run.”

Iwobi has managed three Premier League assists for Everton this season.
