Following the numerous rallies organised by the youths across the country to campaign for the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 election, other political parties have also kicked-off their campaigns.

Over the past weeks, thousands of Peter Obi supporters have taken to the streets in various States to rally. They were seen with their banners, fliers and flags of the party. Others were seen wearing t-shirts with the face of the LP flagbearer.

On October 1, while the Independence Day parade was ongoing, Nigerians took to the street to embark on the 4 Million March 4 Peter Obi.

Various areas in Lagos were involved, other states including Bauchi, Edo, Kastina, Jos among others came out of their homes to campaign for their preferred presidential candidate.

Social media was flooded with videos and images of the numerous crowd as they drummed, singed, danced and chanted the name Peter Obi.

This show of love and support from the 'Obidients' as since shook the camps of the other major political parties.

On Monday, October 3, market women were seen on the streets of Lagos campaigning for Bola Tinubu, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

They were cladded in uniforms, had on them banners, fliers and flags as they danced through the streets. The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his wife were also present.

In an interview with Channels Television, Ayo Oyalowo, member of the APC claimed the women were not mobilised neither was the rally planned. Adding that the large number seen on the street came from Lagos Island alone. He hinted that this is just the beginning for the party.
