In case you haven't heard before now, I'm sure you would be better informed after reading this post that Chloroquine has been approved as one of three drugs that can cure the deadly coronavirus.

The deadly coronavirus, formally known own as Covid-19, broke out in the Hubei province of Wuhan, China and has killed about 2,129 persons globally, according to CNN report.

A report by www.mynigeria.com revealed that three drugs (Chloroquine, remdesivir, and Favilavir) have been approved as a cure against the coronavirus Covid-19 that threatened to bring China to its knees.

According to Pharmaceutical technology, Anti-viral drug Favilavir secured approval from the National Medical Products Administration of China to treat coronavirus Covid-19.

What is Chloroquine initially for ?



Chloroquine is a medication used to prevent and to treat malaria in areas where malaria is known to be sensitive to its effects. Certain types of malaria, resistant strains, and complicated cases typically require different or additional medication.

The medicine, according to reports, became useless and was banned because malaria parasites have but a resistance around it and are no more reacting to it. The side effects it had on people too left the health ministry with no other choice than the ban.
