Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has stated that his Fulham side will be eyeing European qualification in the 2025/2026 season.

The Cottagers finished in 8th position in the just-ended Premier League campaign.
It was the best-ever finish for Fulham in the history of the Premier League.

Despite their impressive campaign, the eighth position was not enough to secure qualification for European football for Marco Silva's side.

Iwobi, who had a remarkable campaign for Fulham last season, believes it will only serve as motivation for the team to push for a European place next season.

“What we achieved last season should be a stepping stone, a motivation, for us to achieve Europe now,” he told Sky Sports.

Iwobi registered nine goals and six assists in 38 Premier League appearances for Marco Silva's side last season.
