Social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), led a protest at the FCT Minister’s gate in Abuja, highlighting the ongoing strike by primary school teachers in the FCT.

The strike, which began on March 24, 2025, has lasted over 90 days due to the Area Council Chairmen’s failure to implement the N70,000 national minimum wage.

Chanting “S for Suegbe, T for Tinubu, W for Wike,” VDM and protesting children drew attention to the issue. VDM declared the Minister’s gate a temporary classroom for the students but declined to comment when approached by our correspondent.

As of this report, the children are on a break, enjoying rice and chicken provided by VDM and supporters.
