Last weekend saw another twist in the race for the Premier League title.

Title holders Manchester City were the biggest winners of the weekend after Arsenal and Liverpool both stumbled in the chase for the title.

Pep Guardiola's side thrashed Luton Town 5-1 at Etihad Stadium last Saturday, courtesy of goals from Josko Gvordiol, Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland and Mateo Kovacic.

A lone goal from Eberechi Eze condemned Liverpool to a second consecutive defeat to Crystal Palace at Anfield on Saturday.

At the Emirates Stadium, Mikel Arteta's side were stunned by Aston Villa after Unai Emery beat his former side 2-0 to dent their hopes of ending their over 20 years wait for the Premier League.

Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins grabbed the goals for Villa as they push for Champions League qualification next season.

Only two points separate Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table with six matches left to play.

MyNigeria Sports examines the remaining fixtures of the three clubs as the title race is set to go down to the wire.
