Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has issued a public warning over the alarming rise of fake social media accounts impersonating her to scam unsuspecting followers.

Taking to her official Instagram page on Thursday evening, the movie star urged fans and the general public to remain vigilant, noting that the impersonators have been promoting fraudulent schemes under her identity.

She specifically denounced a job vacancy post purportedly offering employment opportunities in the United Kingdom, clarifying that she has no affiliation with such an advert.

Wright emphasized that she would never request money, personal details, or private conversations through any unofficial channels.

“Please be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be me. I have never requested money, and I will never ask for personal information or private chats on any other account. This is my only official page,” she cautioned.

Reassuring her loyal fans, the actress added:

“A post was made on my account offering a job vacancy in the UK and we realized it was fraudulent. Please disregard it. Your safety and trust mean so much to me.”
