Spokesperson for President Bola Tinubu, Bayo Onanuga, has announced his decision to venture into farming.

He shared a video of himself tending to his vegetable farm at his home in Lagos.

In a post, Onanuga described himself as a farmer-journalist and mentioned that he replaced the grass at his house with a farm.

“I am now a farmer-journalist, tending some vegetables planted in my house in Lagos. The vegetables replaced the grass,” he wrote.

Onanuga joins First Lady Oluremi Tinubu in embarking on vegetable farming at the comfort of their homes.

It is worth noting that Oluremi Tinubu, as part of her Renewed Hope Initiative, launched a “smart farming” project to boost food production. She encouraged Nigerians, especially the youth, to cultivate the habit of farming to sustain the nation's food drive.
