Again, Tinubu demonstrates tolerance for opposing voices, actions

Once again, President Bola Tinubu has demonstrated his tolerance for opposing voices and actions during his visit to Kaduna State to commission some projects.

In Kaduna, while delivering his speech before Governor Uba Sani and the good people of the state, a man broke protocol to approach him.

The man's action agitated the President's security officers, who all transformed into action to stop him.

"Leave him alone," Tinubu told his security officers who had rushed to stop the man.

A few days ago in Benue State, Tinubu revealed that the criticism from the opposition does not faze him because their actions cannot change the fact that he's President.

According to him, he is a democratic person, which explains why he protects those who abuse and falsely accuse him.

Tinubu made this known while addressing government officials and politicians during a reception in Benue on Wednesday.

“Not everyone will like you in politics, they hate me like hell too. But I’m here, I am the President," he said.

"I even protected my abusers and accusers," he added.

The President's gesture has been commended by human rights activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, who shared on X: "This is extremely commendable from the president. This and his remarks about tolerating critics and learning from them are presidential."
