AfDB President, Akinwumi Adesina, idolises late father who turns 98 today

President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina has written a heartfelt tribute to his late father, who was expected to turn 98 today.

Adesina who obviously misses his dad took to Twitter to share the many beautiful memories he experienced with his father.

He emphasized his teachings made him better and stressed the depth of his love for his father.

"Today my darling father, Roland Adesina, would have turned 98 years. I miss you Dad, every single day. You taught me to be kind, to love and care for others. I’ll never depart from all you taught me. Happy birthday RF. I will celebrate you. You are alive always in my heart."
