Popular comedian AY Makun has poked fun at 2Face’s reported marital troubles, joking that the Nigerian singer could soon return to Lagos and become his neighbor again.

The comedian made the remark during a performance at Daddy Showkey’s concert in Lagos on Sunday, August 9, 2026, amid the ongoing public drama surrounding 2Face and his new wife, Natasha Osawaru.

AY said 2Face used to be his neighbour before the singer relocated to Benin but suggested that recent developments could force him to return.

“2Baba was my former neighbour before they relocated him to Benin, but the way things are going, it seems he will be coming back to join me. I have been observing,” AY joked.

The joke comes after AY’s own experience following the end of his marriage to Mabel Makun in 2024, with the comedian humorously suggesting that he and 2Baba could both find themselves single and living as neighbours again.

AY and Mabel announced the end of their 20-year relationship in April 2024, while 2Baba and Natasha have recently been at the centre of public attention following reports of a dispute between the couple.
