Oluwatobi Ojosipe popularly known as Wande Coal is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer. Wande Coal was born on October 18, 1980 in Lagos. Growing up in the Ajegunle slum area, Wande Coal was exposed to a wide range of musical genres. He started singing at a young age, and by the time he was twelve, he had composed a number of songs. After graduating from high school, his goal was to become a professional singer.

His breakthrough studio album Mushin 2 Mo'Hits features the popular song "Ololufe," which has made him most famous.

Wande Coal inked a record contract with Mo'Hits Records, owned by Don Jazzy, in 2006. His first single, "Bumper 2 Bumper," was released that same year and quickly became popular. This resulted in his inclusion on the compilation album 'Curriculum Vitae' released by the label. 2009 saw the release of his first studio album, "Mushin 2 Mo'Hits," to both critical and financial success. The album featured the popular song "Ololufe," which propelled him to stardom.

Throughout his career, Wande Coal has collaborated with numerous well-known Nigerian musicians including Burna Boy, Davido, Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage and others. Additionally, he has also collaborated with international singers like Drake.

Although Wande Coal is single at the moment, he has previously been connected to a number of ladies. He is a very involved philanthropist who has contributed to several African charities. Furthermore, Wande Coal has advocated for improved education in Nigeria and against child labor.
