Victor Boniface is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen as a striker and the Nigerian national team.

The Leverkusen star known for his distinctive style of play was born on December 23, 2000, in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. His background, including learning to play football in a military barracks in Nigeria, adds an interesting dimension to his journey as a footballer.

On 4 March 2019, Boniface signed for Bodø/Glimt from Real Sapphire where he sustained a ligament injury two weeks after singing for Glimt. Due to the severity of the injury, it is advised that he would likely be kept on the sidelines throughout the 2019 season.

In 2019, the young blood was selected to the Nigerian U-20 team to play the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, but considering his injury, he withdrew from the team. However, in September 2019, he made his league debut for the club.

Boniface signed a four-year contract with Union Saint-Gilloise on August 8, 2022. After his stellar performance in the club, he signed for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen on 22 July 2023, a contract until 2028, where he was assigned the number 22 Jersey(Shirt). Boniface made his debut appearance for the club as a starter on 19 August, in a 3-2 home win over RB Leipzig.

Relatively, Boniface made his debut for the Nigerian senior team on 10 September 2023, coming on in the 64th minute for Taiwo Awoniyi.
