Ramsey Nouah (born Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Junior) is an established Nigerian actor and director who has won several awards in his movie career.

Ramsey Nouah was born in Lagos on December 19, 1970, to a Lebanese father and a Yoruba mother who hails from Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria. The actor lived in Surulere, Lagos where he attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School. He further earned a diploma in Mass Communication at the University Of Lagos.

Nouah started his acting career in the early 1990s when he needed money to enroll for his General Certificate Exam (GCE). He started gaining relevance in the movie industry when he starred as Jeff Akin-Thomas in the Nigerian TV soap Opera Fortunes. Since then, Ramsey Nouah has appeared in numerous movies starring in the lead role.

In 2010, Ramsey Nouah won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his outstanding performance in the movie “The Figurine”. He has also won other awards; Best Actor in a Supporting Role (2020), Director of the Year, twice- Best Nollywood Awards, 2020, and Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards, 2022.

Nouah is happily married to Emelia Philips-Nouah with two sons, Quincy Nouah and Joshua Nouah, and one daughter, Desiree Nouah.
