Osita Iheme is a Nigerian actor, producer, and writer who was born on February 20, 1982. He is a native of Mbaitoli, Imo State. Osita Iheme was born into a family of five, his parents and siblings being taller than him. His mother's name is Mrs. Augustina Iheme, and his father is Mr. Herbert Iheme. He became well-known when he co-starred with Chinedu Ikedieze in the movie Aki na Ukwa as Pawpaw.

Osita had his MBA degree from the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu (IMT), and he was raised in Abia State. He originally intended to become a lawyer after graduating from IMT, but in 1998 he decided to pursue a career in film acting, appearing in modest roles at first.

Throughout his career, Osita Iheme was frequently pigeonholed into playing juvenile roles; this tendency persisted long after he reached adulthood. Osita Iheme has starred in more than hundred movies. Like his colleague Chinedu Ikedieze, Iheme stands apart from other performers in the Nigerian film industry thanks to his ‘little’ physique. In his professional life, he has developed from a humorous performer to a versatile, well-known actor. The Nollywood community has given Chinedu and Osita a lot of credit for their continued on-screen and off-screen relationship. Nonetheless, he disclosed in 2018 that he hoped to enter politics one day.

In 2011 he was awarded the Nigerian National Honor of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) by President Goodluck Jonathan. In 2007 he was given the lifetime Achievement award by AMAA (African movie Academy Awards). President Goodluck Jonathan bestowed upon Osita Iheme the Nigerian National Honor of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2011. Osita also received the African Movie Academy Awards' (AMAA) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.

Osita Iheme established the Inspired Movement Africa with the goal of energising, encouraging, and energising the brains of young Africans and Nigerians. Iheme won the Africa Movie Academy Awards' Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007. He is regarded as one of the most well-known actors in Nigeria. President Goodluck Jonathan bestowed to Osita Iheme the title of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in 2011.
