Ibukunoluwa Abiodun Awosika was born on December 24, 1962 in Ibadan, Nigeria. She is a Nigerian business woman, motivational speaker, and an author.

She has made history as the first female Chairperson of First Bank of Nigeria. Her name represents resilience, leadership, and entrepreneurial excellence in Nigeria and beyond.

As the Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, one of the country's oldest and most reputable financial institutions, Awosika has carved a remarkable path in the often male-dominated world of business.

After obtaining a degree in Chemistry from the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University, she initially ventured into the realm of entrepreneurship, founding her own furniture manufacturing company, The Chair Centre Limited, in 1989. The Chair Centre grew to become one of the leading furniture companies in Nigeria.

She later continued to become the first woman to serve as Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, a position she assumed in 2015.

Throughout her career, Awosika has been a vocal advocate for women's empowerment and entrepreneurship. She believes in the power of mentorship and actively mentors young women. She also serves as a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs Beyond her corporate work, Awosika is also a renowned author and motivational speaker, sharing her insights and experiences to inspire others to reach their full potential.
