Stanley Bobbi Nwabali was born on June 10, 1996, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He shot into fame following his heroics at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire where he became the first Nigerian goalkeeper to keep four consecutive clean sheets in a single Nations Cup tournament.

His journey in football began in 2019 when he joined Go Round FC, initially starting his career as a striker before transitioning into the role of a goalkeeper. Nwabili's talent quickly caught the attention of clubs, leading to subsequent moves to Enyimba in 2020, followed by stints at Lobi Stars, Katsina United, and ultimately, Chippa United in 2022, where he currently plies his trade in the Premier Soccer League.

In 2021, Nwabili earned his first cap for the Nigerian national team, representing his country in an international friendly against Mexico held in Los Angeles, United States. His selection to the national team underscored his growing reputation as a promising goalkeeper in Nigerian football circles.

Nwabili's rise to prominence reached new heights during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations held in Ivory Coast. His standout performance in the semi-final match against South Africa showcased his exceptional goalkeeping skills, as he saved two penalties in a crucial shootout, leading Nigeria to a 4–2 victory following a 1–1 draw. This stellar performance earned him the Man of the Match accolade and played a pivotal role in securing Nigeria's place in the tournament final.
