Nigerian businessman, Chief Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga is a Yoruba man who was born on April 29, 1953.

His hardwork and dedication has at a point in time, made him the third richest person in Africa. He owns Globacom; the second-largest telecom operator in Nigeria. Globacom also operates in Ghana and Benin.

In May 2021, Forbes estimated his net worth to be at $6.2 billion.

In his earlier years, Adenuga went to secondary school at the Ibadan Grammar School in Oyo State and proceeded to Comprehensive High School, Aiyetoro, for his Higher School Certificate (HSC).

He laboured as a taxi driver to help pay for his university education. Through his hard work and toil, he was able to successfully graduate the Northwestern Oklahoma State University and Pace University, New York, with degrees in Business Administration.

From making his first million in at age 26, to being named African Entrepreneur of The Year at the first African Telecoms Awards, to being decorated with the insignia of a Commander of the Legion of Honour by President Emmanuel Macron of France, only two things are common about Mr Adenuga, and they are: hard work and dedication.
