Dana Air is a Nigerian airline fully private sector-owned carrier headquartered in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, and based in the Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

Dana Airline is owned by Dana Group, a group of companies in the global steel industry, founded by Birbal Singh Dana in 1991. It is known as a manufacturing hub for steel and automotive lubricants.

The airline commenced flight operations on 10 November 2008 and has since its inauguration progressively expanded its route network.

Dana Air teamed up with Ibom Air in May 2021 to launch the first-ever domestic airline codeshare agreement by Nigerian airlines.

On July 20, 2022, the airline had both its license and certificate suspended by the Nigerian authorities after it was deemed financially unfit to maintain operations. The airline claimed that the increase in the cost of jet fuel, unavailability of foreign exchange, and inflation were contributory factors.

However, the airline resumed operation in November 2022, after being reinstated by the Nigerian Aviation Safety Authority (NCAA) following the airline's success with NCAA audits.

Currently, Dana Air serves the following destinations in Nigeria; Abuja - Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport), Enugu - Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Lagos- Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Owerri - Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Port Harcourt- Port Harcourt International Airport.
