Innocent Ujah Idibia Listen popularly known as 2Baba is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer born on September 18, 1975 in Jos. He attended Mount Saint Gabriel's Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State. 2Baba began attending the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT), Enugu, where he completed his first National Diploma program in management and business administration.

2Baba performed at events and parties hosted by the school while he was a student at IMT. He also gave performances at other area institutions such as the University of Nigeria and Enugu State University of Science & Technology. However, 2Baba eventually left school to focus on his musical career. In 1996, while enrolled at IMT, 2Baba began writing and performing jingles at the Enugu State Broadcasting Services (ESBS) GB Fan Club.

His solo debut album Face2Face, which featured the hit song "African Queen" introduced a new wave of awareness and veneration for Nigerian music among Africans on the continent and in the diaspora. He is primarily responsible for the growth in popularity of Nigerian pop music in the 2000s.

He performed under the artist name 2face Idibia until July 2014 where he changed it to 2Baba. 2Baba who is one of the most recognized Nigerian musicians in history was the inaugural winner of the MTV EMA Best African Act category in 2005.

2Baba is married to Annie Macauley, a Nollywood actress, producer, model, and serial entrepreneur. 2Baba and Annie Macaulay tied the knot in a private ceremony in Lagos, Nigeria, on May 2, 2012. On March 23, 2013, the couple had a civil ceremony which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and was attended by a number of celebrities.

2Baba and Annie have two daughters named Olivia and Isabel Idibia. While in a relationship with his then-girlfriend-turned-wife Annie Macaulay–Idibia, 2Baba fathered two children with Sumbo Ajala and three with Pero Adeniyi. In total, 2Baba is the father of seven kids.

2Baba has received one "MTV Europe Music Award," one "World Music Award," five Headies Awards, four Channel O Music Video Awards, one "BET award" for his musical endeavors, four MTV Africa Music Awards, one MOBO award, one KORA award, three AFRIMMA Awards, and numerous other nominations.

The singer was awarded an honorary master of arts in music degree by Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State in May 2016. He also received an honorary fellow of the school of music award in March 2019 from Obafemi Awolowo University's music department. Due to this, he was the first person to receive the honor, which was given to him during the first public lecture and fellowship ceremony on March 20, 2019.

2Baba was also named the Nigerian Stock Exchange's (NSE) good cause ambassador in August 2019.
