Leicester City’s star forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has expressed his full support for fellow Nigerian footballer Alex Iwobi as he puts his rap skills to the test with former teammate Amadou Onana, Soccernet.ng reports.

It’s no secret that Fulham’s Iwobi has a talent for music as an artist off the pitch with several videos of him hitting the studio going viral.

Recently, he joined his ex-teammate from Everton, Amadou Onana, to showcase their rap skills in the studio. Football Fits shared a video of the duo rapping together.

Iwobi, who linked up with Kenneth Omeruo and Samuel Chukwueze on their way to the Super Eagles camp, took to social media to show his rapping skills once again.

Leicester forward, Iheanacho, who has also been called up by Peseiro to join his troops as they tackle Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in the coming days, commented on his feed to show his support and even mentioned that he’s prepared with his own verse.

“Got my verse ready, bro,” Iheanacho wrote in response to Iwobi’s post.

Nottingham Forest forward, currently on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir, also reacted to Iwobi’s social media post, playfully referring to him as a “Naija boy” with a laughing and fire emoji.

Iwobi recently returned to the Super Eagles squad after being left out of the team for the Africa Cup of Nations final qualification match against São Tomé and Principe.

As Peseiro’s men tackle the Arabians and Mozambique in Portugal in few days time, Iwobi will be looking to contribute significantly to their victory.
