Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has finally confirmed he is leaving the Premier League club.
The Spaniard revealed this in a statement on Friday.
“And what a time we have had together,” Guardiola said.
“Don’t ask me the reasons I’m leaving.
“There is no reason, but deep inside, I know it’s my time.”
Guardiola departs the Etihad after a decade, even though he has one year left on his current contract.
The 55-year-old won a cup double in his final campaign, but he missed out on the Premier League title after City’s 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.
During his 10 years at City, he won 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy.
