Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman has turned his focus to the UEFA Champions League semifinals after inspiring Atlético Madrid to eliminate FC Barcelona.

The Nigerian forward scored the decisive goal in the quarterfinal tie, sealing a 3-2 aggregate victory.

Atlético will now face Arsenal in the semifinal with the first leg billed for Madrid on April 29 before the decisive return leg in London May 5.

Lookman acknowledged the challenge ahead but welcomed it.

“Any team at this stage is a top team… we’re looking forward to it.”

Despite losing the second leg 2-1 at home, Atlético’s earlier 2-0 away win proved decisive in securing qualification.
