AFCON 2023: Nigeria vs Ivory Coast tickets sold out ahead of epic showdown

With exactly ten days to the start of the 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations, the AFCON fever is reverberating among fans.

The premier continental showpiece promises to deliver top-notch performances from some of the finest African stars as fans eagerly anticipate what lies ahead.

The latest development reveals that the match tickets for the much-anticipated Group A clash between the hosts Ivory Coast and the Super Eagles of Nigeria are completely out of sale.

The match will be played at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on January 18.

According to reports, category three tickets was sold at $8, category two $16 and category one $24.

The other sold-out matches are Ivory Coast vs Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea vs G’Bissau, Senegal vs Cameroon and Egypt vs Ghana.

The 2023 AFCON will kick off on January 13 when Cote D'Ivoire welcomes Guinea-Bissau in the opening fixture.
