Super Eagles Head Coach Jose Peseiro has predicted a difficult game against Saudi Arabia.

Nigeria will take on Roberto Mancini's side in an international friendly at the Estadio Municipal De Portimao in Portugal later today (October 13).

The clash forms part of the Super Eagles preparations towards next year's AFCON in Ivory Coast.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Peseiro noted that he expects a tough encounter since Saudi Arabia was the last team to beat current World Champions Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

“Saudi was the last team to beat Argentina so I expect a hard match and also a good match for our team and we will start on the front foot against them.

“We want to beat Saudi Arabia and Mozambique so as to prepare well for the first two games of the World Cup qualifiers because Nigeria must play the next World Cup,” Peseiro said in his press conference on Thursday.
