Lazio goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel did the unthinkable as he scored a late equalizer to against Athletico Madrid in their UEFA Champions League opener at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday night.

The 29-year-old joined the attack as the home side pushed for a stoppage time equalizer and connected perfectly with Luis Alberto's sublime cross from the left flank to beat Jan Oblak.

Pablo Barrios gave Diego Simeone's side the lead in the first half.

Provedel joined the likes of Vincent Enyeama, Sinan Bolat and Jans Jorg Butt as the only goalkeepers to score in the Champions League.
